So I’m flipping channels the other day. I generally start at channell 01 and just work my way up the list. The first 100 channels here in Austin are local one. There is channel 8 which is like our own CNN where the news and weather stories repeat on the same slot of the hour.

Anyway, I’m flipping channels and hit a show called Gastineau Girls. Now I’m seen my share of reality TV. Most of the time these shows like Survivor, Big Brother, Real World are full of unknowns grouped together with the purpose of causing friction among the players. Or on the other side of the reality show spectrum you have celebrities like Anna Nichole Smith, The Ozzbornes, etc. Somewhere in the middle is a few other shows like Surreal life that takes has been celebs and puts them through different tasks

What I’m not understanding is who are these Gastineau Girls? Where do they come from and more important why are they on TV so that others can watch their personal drama? I just don’ get it. Sorry. I mean sure these ladies are somewhat hot. But really I’d rather watch Spanish soap operas and I don’t speak Spanish.
