On vacation for the last week of the year

Lucky me. Mindshare closes the office doors for the last week of the year. This on top of getting two weeks vacation to take during the year. What a fantastic company to work for. So this week I’m off and getting bored. Sondra’s family came to town and celebrated Christmas. It was short and sweet. They have all left now and Sondra has gone back to work. So for th emost part I’m on my own during the day. Her mom is also home. so I try and spend my time doing things. At the moment I’m sitting at Mozart’s Coffer house on Lake Austin Blvd. http://www.mozartscoffee.com/. New Year, New Theme

I “heart” Tikibar TV

Sometime earlier this year I got into podcasts. I love ‘em. I download the casts to my system and sync to my iPod. Then when I’m running around town or literally running around Town Lake here in Austin I can catch up on the latest podcast sessions. Because I’m a developer my casts follow a similar themes being mostly technical in nature. I also subscribe to some history casts. I do however subscribe to a few that are quite fun. continue...
Super Agent/Hero Reboot
Sondra and I caught the latest James Bond Franchise effort this afternoon. In a word I was very impressed. I know this is a movie that came out a few weeks ago. We generally don’t try and fight our way through the crowd to see new movies. Well on special occasions like this year’s Pirates of the Caribbean. continue...
